Just because you cannot make it for a facial doesn’t mean you have to miss out on spoiling your skin! This at home DIY facial is something you can do once a week or once a month to keep you skin soft, smooth, supply and dry. It’s easy to forget to treat yourself now and again, but once you start I promise you will get hooked!
Facials in essence revolve around my philosophy of creating a healthy skin, through “raking and feeding” the skin. At a facial your dead skin will be removed and then your skin will be encased in a lovely mask to feed the skin what is desires. Light therapy is also popular to stimulate and regenerate. I have an at home solution for that too.
So let me reveal a lovely DIY home facial just for you.
Feel free to alternate any of the below with similar products that are already in your cupboard.
Step 1: Cleanse your face with the Skin Matrix Balance Cleanser
Step 2: Wipe with cotton rounds the HydroPeptide Pre Treatment Toner over the skin
Step 3: Apply the Osmosis Polish Enzyme Mask to the skin (5-10 mins remove) or if you prefer a physical exfoliator you can exfoliate the skin with the Skin Matrix AHA Exfoliating Scrub
Step 4: Lie down in peace with a book or your ear pods in and let your skin drink up all the goodness from our Skin Matrix Hydralift Mask. I love this mask at it so not fluffy. Yes it will hydrate you skin, but it will take matters one step further, targeting skin brightness and ageing with ingredients such as Kakadu Plum, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid and White Tea.
Step 5: Remove the sheet mask after 5-20 minutes and apply your moisturiser right on top. Oh and make sure you massage in all the goodness that is left on the skin from the mask.
Repeat weekly and watch your skin take on a whole new glow and radiance.
Make Sunday night your treatment night.
